The mountain reaches 8611 m above sea level and is the second tallest in the world, only Mt. Also considering the K2-statistics this expedition is a great achievement.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this summer John Snorri also became the first Icelander to reach the top og Lhotse, 8561, but Lhotse is the fourth tallest mountain in the world<\/p>\n<p>Amazing\u00a0summer for John Snorri.
