Mig langar að vekja athygli ÍSALP-ara á þessum tilkynningu sem ég fékk í tölvupósti frá Paul Walker/ Tangent expeditions. Fyrir nokkrum árum komu tveir leiðsögumenn á hans vegum og héldu myndasýningu fyrir ÍSALP félaga.
Paul þessi stendur fyrir flugi til Constable Point en þaðan á víst að vera gott að komast í fjalla-aksjón.
Mér heyrist þetta geta verið sjaldgæft tækifæri til að komast þarna norður eftir án þess að þurfa gefa báðar hendurnar, önnur nægir líklegast.

Following confirmation of our 2013 charter flight dates to Constable Point, can all private and independent groups please contact me immediately to advise of your preferred travel dates. The Twin Otter aircraft is limited to just 8 seats between Iceland and Greenland, and 10 seats on the return journey. Seats are being sold on a first come first served basis and early application is essential to guarantee your preferred flight dates. Demand is high for such a limited seat availability.

For groups booking all inclusive logistics arrangements with Tangent, these flights are included in your package price. For those booking flights separately the price will vary from £750 return for the first 4 seats bookings, up to £850 for the remaining seats. Despite these price increases over last year’s fares our total Europe to Constable Point flight prices are still cheaper than flying via the west coast with the more limited once weekly schedule via Copenhagen and Kangerlussuaq.

Seats can also be booked online, using our partner Air Iceland’s online booking system, though bookings placed direct with us will always be approximately £50 cheaper.
