    Hi,

I mean, not the ice from the icecream shop in vesturbær, but the real shit. (Except for Palli, because I still have to buy you some real icecream dude!)
Is there any ice already somewhere? Like, good enough to try my axes?
As you all are specialists in finding ice and good conditions, there must be someone who knows… :)

I’m going to Spain in a week so I just thought before I leave:…
it might be nice to lick some ice (heheh, that rhymes)

Who’s up for iceclimbing this week, like this Saturday wherever in Iceland as long as it doesn’t take two days to drive???

    Greetz,

    Hi

Despite the cold spell last week I really don’t think you’ll find any climbable ice outside of glaciers. Looks like warm temps and rain until next week.

The first decent ice-climbing days are usually not seen until the end of October or mid-November.

It will be colder when you get beck from your trip so you’ll have something to look forward to when you are being sun-baked in Spain.

    Allez!
